Getting high dose chemotherapy treatment is only half the battle –  Thomas is still looking for a bone marrow donor.  His doctor’s found a few donors through the BeTheMatch program at the National Bone Marrow Registry, but the donors didn’t have all of the markers the doctor’s were hoping for. So they are now looking at cord blood donors to find a ‘match’ for Thomas.
