Dropped the kids off at school this morning and made my way to work (I started part time at Ohana) — it was raining, but nothing too serious.

It’s never a good sign to see Mike Seidel from the Weather Channel dressed in his L.L. Bean rain coat on the Seawall as I drive home. I turn the Weather Channel on at home and they are talking about our little city — Jamaica Beach pop.1,500! Luckily, right now it looks like we will just get A LOT of rain, not too much wind.
