I’m also looking for corporate sponsors (I have to raise $4,100.00 by AUGUST 21!!!), so if you know any companies that would be interested in donating/sponsoring me please let me know, and pass along my TNT website.

oh, and of course expect an email from me to donate too! My Aunt Marti and Johnny are going to SFO to be my cheerleaders — don’t let us down — help me reach my goal!

Sophie trying hard to keep up with her Great Aunt!

Aunt Marti teaching Sophie to stand on her head… she vows that she will have her on her head by the time she leaves.

Johnny’s counts were okay. HGB 10.0, ANC 680, and there is an liver enzyme that is check every 4 weeks that tells if his liver is working okay, normal is 40-45, Johnny’s was 242 — a little high. this could be due to a virus or something, the doctor’s didn’t seem to be too worried because the synthetic enzyme that is checked was normal and that says that he is processing his meds properly. They will check all liver enzymes next Friday to make sure all is normal again, if not and the synthetic enzyme is up as well as the other enzyme, we will have to adjust his meds lower — which we don’t want to do. But we are all confident that everything will be normal next Friday.

The larger dose of vincristine seems to be hitting him pretty hard. Today was the first day he got dressed since Saturday. He skated a tiny bit today, maybe 5 minutes. He seems to be perking up, so we will send him to school tomorrow and see what happens.

My Aunt Marti is in from MI to help out — we are having so much fun. By the end of the day everyone is exhausted from a full day of activities. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday unless something funky comes up. I should talk to my doctor tomorrow to find out more about all of the particulars — if I have time I will update more before surgery. Can’t wait to feel BETTER all the time!
